SIMPLIFYING HEALTH CARE INFORMATION
Healthcare is awash in data. This is an oft underutilized asset that can be leveraged to provide better outcomes. At Ai Medica we develop tools that leverage this enormous asset to drive better outcomes for the end-user. We streamline delivery of care by translating the data into actionable items. We are changing medicine one data point at a time.
WHEN AND WHY WAS Ai Medica STARTED?
Ai Medica was started in 2019. A group of healthcare industry professionals identified a need to develop tools to make use of the healthcare data being generated by their healthcare systems. Questions kept being asked that could be answered by accessing healthcare data, but the tools were not readily available to access the data in a meaningful way. We needed insight into issues affecting modern healthcare including: healthcare resource deployment, healthcare provider documentation, patient engagement and medical error reduction.
WHAT DOES Ai Medica DO?
At Ai Medica we develop tools that streamline healthcare.
Providers now can have decisions processes streamlined, so less time is spent manipulating complicated EMR’s and more time with patients, taking part in shared decision making and strengthening therapeutic relationships.
Patients will not only be able to access their data but will be given an understanding on how to best improve their own health.
Healthcare systems will be able to see in real-time where best to deploy vital healthcare resources in the communities they serve. Looking at things beyond diagnoses, e.g. social determinants of health. These social determinants of health include broad demographic data, geographic understanding of disease burden, behavioral health resources and so forth.
Please see our product section for specific information regarding the software tools we
have developed and those under development.

"As much as 30% of the entire world’s stored data is generated in the health care industry. A single patient typically generates close to 80 megabytes each year in imaging and electronic medical record (EMR) data. This trove of data has obvious clinical, financial, and operational value for the health care industry, and the new value pathways that such data could enable have been estimated by McKinsey to be worth more than $300 billion annually in reduced costs alone." – Capterra.com
